This AIP/Paleo Avocado Grapefruit Salad is refreshingly light and delicious. The acidity of ruby red grapefruits pairs perfectly with the creaminess of the avocado, and fresh basil adds a wonderful, bright kick.

- 2 ruby red grapefruits
- 1 medium hass avocado
- juice of 1/2 lime
- olive oil (for drizzling)
- sea salt and handful of chopped basil (for garnishing)
Instructions
- Peel and segment your grapefruits and peel and slice the avocado.
- Arrange grapefruit segments and avocado slices on a large plate/platter.
- Finely chop basil and sprinkle on top the avocado and grapefruit.
- Just before you are ready to serve, sprinkle salad with seat salt, the juice of 1/2 lime and a drizzle of olive oil.
