Description
Spaghetti and Meat Sauce – the ultimate comfort food! This version is AIP, paleo and nightshade free made with nomato sauce and cassava flour pasta.

- 1 TBSP extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 3/4 tsp sea salt, plus more to taste
- 1/2 tsp dried or fresh thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried or fresh basil, plus more for garnishing
- 1/2 dried or fresh oregano
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 cups nomato sauce
- 1 8oz pack of AIP-compliant pasta
Instructions
- Boil pasta according to package’s specifications and set aside.
- To a large stock pot, add olive oil and heat over medium heat.
- Add ground beef, sea salt, thyme, basil, oregano, onion and garlic powder and sauté 3-4 minutes.
- Add nomato sauce and reduce heat to low. Allow to simmer 20-25 minutes.
- Taste for salt and adjust accordingly.
- Toss meat sauce with pasta and garnish with fresh basil.
